Homeowner kills armed burglar

It's about time one of these home invaders met the right homeowner.The recidivism rate in these cases is 0%.

Memphis Police say a shootout between a homeowner and an intruder ended with one person dead early Friday morning.
Investigators said the shooting happened in the 3700 block of Hyacinth Drive, when an armed man forced his way into a home around 2:30 a.m.

The man living in the home and the intruder fired shots at each other, injuring the homeowner and killing the intruder.

The homeowner was transported to The MED in non-critical condition.

Investigators said police were already in the neighborhood investigating a pair of auto break-ins when the shooting occurred.

Police have not said if the homeowner will be charged with a crime.
