The September meeting of the TFA Shelby County Chapter will be Thursday, September 18th at 7 PM at in Bartlett. The meeting will be in the classroom next to the Liberty Grill.
Our speaker this month is of Senate district 32, and his topic will be legislation to allow a carry permit holder to carry in restaurants, ie, where alcohol is sold for onsite consumption. Senator Norris introduced such legislation in the Senate last session, and is a member of the Senate's Judiciary Committee.
Mark your calendar with the Friends of the NRA banquet date of October 9th at Woodland Hills. This will be an important fund raising event for the shooting sports, including the . Five hundred of us in one place in Shelby County, and each of us has a chance to win a $7,000 door prize.
