I think it’s safe to say that General Weirich heads the most challenging district in Tennessee and one of the most challenging in the nation. General Weirich is a veteran prosecutor who started serving in the Shelby County D.A.’s office in 1991. Over the past 20 years, she has served in many leadership roles in the office, including Deputy District Attorney, Chief Prosecutor of the Gang and Narcotics Prosecution Unit and Division Leader for the Special Prosecution Unit in criminal court.

She will discuss her strategies to reduce and react to crime as well as armed citizens and self defense in Shelby County.
