The N.E. Shelby Republican Club

will host Sheriff Mark Luttrell as their guest speaker tonight. Sheriff Luttrell is running in the GOP primary for the Shelby County Mayor's race. Although Sheriff Luttrell initially opposed our Restaurant Bill last year, he has stated that the law is decided now (or was, until a Nashville judge suspended it in response to a politically motivated, straw dog law suit). Sheriff Luttrell has been accessible to TFA and his constituents, and has been generally supportive of legally armed citizens. Also, he brought professionalism and integrity to the Sheriff's office along with needed reforms.
"February Meeting
Our second meeting of 2010 is coming up. The meeting will be Monday, February 16th, at our normal meeting location: the Bartlett Station Municipal Center. A time of refreshments begins at 6:30 PM and the meeting begins promptly at 7:00 PM. We will make an announcement by mid-day on Monday if inclement weather is a factor.
Our scheduled guest speaker is Sheriff Mark Luttrell. He has announced he will be a candidate for Shelby County Mayor this fall. I hope everyone will join us!"
The Greater Bartlett Council Of Home Owners Associations

will meet tomorrow, February 16th, at 7:00 PM, also at the Bartlett Station Municipal Center, Community Room "A", second floor. Bartlett Mayor, Keith McDonald, will be the guest speaker.
The GBC hosted a fair debate last summer regarding legal carry in Bartlett parks. TFA appreciates the opportunity we were given to discuss the safety and civil rights benefits of that common sense legislation.
