Sheriff Luttrell has invited us to meet at his range 10/20/09 at 6:30 PM.

We sincerely appreciate his invitation and this will be the Shelby County Chapter TFA meeting for October, as we have a TFA table at the Friends Of NRA Banquet 10/15/09.
Congratulations to Sheriff Luttrell for receiving the 2009 Sheriff of the Year by the National Sheriff’s Association. Shelby County is one of the most challenging counties for crime in the U.S. and we are fortunate to have Sheriff Luttrell and his staff on duty.
Sheriff Luttrell will discuss his thoughts on crime, citizen carry and answer questions.
Do NOT carry your gun into the classroom where we will meet.
The Range address is 800 Dovecrest. The simplest way to get there is:
Go south on Sycamore View from Macon Road (first street south of the I-40 Sycamore View exchange). Follow Sycamore View to its end point where it intersects with Mullins Station. Turn right (slightly) on what will become Dovecrest (it goes off at an angle and then angles back quickly to go south again) to get onto Dovecrest.
Continue straight until you reach Gardner Lane. Turn right (west). The Range will be on your left. Turn into the drive and park in the visitor/student parking lot. The Range appears to be on Gardner Lane, but its address is listed as 800 Dovecrest.
Although we always welcome new TFA Members, you don't have to be a member to attend our meetings. I look forward to seeing you there.
In Liberty,
Pat McGarrity
At Your Service - Shelby County TFA Director
