As of April 13, here are the 9 additional legislators bringing HB2225 to a total of 39
am advised by Rep. Buck's office that there are 9 additional sponsors signed on as of April 12, even though their names have not yet been added to the state website. Here are the 9 additional sponsors:
Gary Moore (D)
David Shepard (D)
John Tidwell (D)
David Davis (R)
Beth Harwell (R)
Glen Casada (R)
Gerald McCormick (R)
Jimmy Eldridge (R)
Charles Sargent (R)
So, we move from 26 Republicans and 4 Democrats on April 11 to April 13 where we are now 39 sponosors (32 Republicans and 7 Democrats). I remain seriously concerned about the fact that the Democrats are in the majority, they routinely tout during the election cycle that they are pro-Second Amendment and yet we have only 6 Democrats (other than the bill sponsor) who will step forward to help full this bill out from the McMillan/Sontany/Brooks execution committee.

No surprise I'm sure, but I've had no reply to phone, email, nor snail mail. I didn't vote for this...gentlman, and I'll continue to do so.
But for fun I'm sending at least 10 emails a day.
I'd have sworn they were elected to represent me!

My Rep, Chris Crider assures me he is signing on as co-sponsor. He makes one more. Will be nice when we pass 50 co-sponsors showing that the bill would pass if brought up on the floor for a fair vote.

I contacted Harry Brooks (R) via email asking him to support the bill. I did receive an email response, but it simply thanked me for my email. I was not at all impressed with the response, but at least it is more than what a lot are getting according to the posts here.
