Hi guys. I have a question or 2.
What is the best site to sell on and what should I be on the look out for? I've never sold online and I'm a bit nervous about it. How do I go about verifying I'm sending it to an FFL dealer?

Easy, you have the FFL send you a HAND SIGNED copy of his paper FFL. Ask him to sign it in blue ink so you can see the signature. You can then call BATF to verify it is a real FFL, if you think you need to do so. Be sure to keep a copy of all paperwork, incl the hand-signed FFL Simple Be sure to ask him to put in writing his charges to you for receiving a gun.

you can also have your local FFL send it to the buyer's FFL. Some FFLs insist they will only accept transfers from other dealers, not from sellers. You end up paying two FFL transfer fees that way, but then you don't have any worries.
It's insane that politicians get to complain about "internet gun sales", they're worse than shops for hassle.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking to sell a couple in my collection and trying to avoid a $100 commission fee for selling at a local shop.
Kind of sounds like just taking them there to sell would be safer and less hassle.

gun shows! If they're long guns, you can sell in the Southaven show this weekend.
