Good letter. The lady that runs the LTE page is married to an ex cop and said I was preaching to the choir. Nice to know we might have someone at a paper who sees our point of view
They published my LTE on Thursday, January 8th and it came as a big surprise to me as they published it just like I wrote it -- no editing -- the Knoxville News Sentinel wants LTE's of less than 200 words and they often edit the 200 words down to a couple of sentences, thus diluting the LTE.
I cut and pasted as I'm not that good on the linking stuff
Keep up the effort and good luck on your chapter.
