Sunset Grill?

Just wondering here, but doesn't Randy Rayburn own the Sunset Grill? I believe so. I think I also remember reading something about him trying to blame slow times for all the to-do over the guns in restaurants.

Well, not to seem overly joyful but I spend a good amount of time working right next door to the Sunset Grill and unless I'm just in the area at the wrong time, on the wrong days, his restaurant appears to be empty all of the time.

Curious to know if anyone else was noticing the same thing.

Midtown Cafe is the other one.

I had to go there for a business lunch and noticed that it was not legally posted. He had a "no guns anytime - free parking always" sign over the hostess station. He may have changed it by now. I think its pretty hypocritical to make such a stink over the guns in restaurants bill and then not even legally post.

He's simply another windbag trying to draw some media attention and pump some life into his fading business. Ten years ago the Sunset Grill was the place to be to eat among "stars" who were in town and often frequented the place. Now it's just another place to absorb an overpriced, mediocre meal. Gun sign or no gun sign, I wouldn't go to one of his restaurants if the meal was free.
