the government is most certainly overgrown ,like a lot left unattended for years, now full of trash and debris and weeds so high you can't see what is behind them nor can you see the ground where all thats native first rooted and took hold, what is behind all those weeds? i suspect it's capitol hill and Pennsylvania ave.,they like the weeds high so we can't see what they are doing, personally, i think it's a good idea, this new ammendment , but why wait 5 yrs, ,,lets limit terms in this ammendment while we're at it, giving more honest citizens a chance to participate, lets also restructure retirement for government employee's namely congressmen, to make it comparable with the working man's retirement, there is no reason why after a life time of back breaking work, that has broken down his body, he be given a retirement with pitiful medical care, and money so little they must eat cat food, or be forced to work a side job,, that's not retirement,,,,, ADD IN ALSO,,, no pilfering of social security money, the money taken from our checks before we receive them. had social security funds always been left alone, then the common man and woman could retire with the same pay and benefits as a senator,,,, are they better than us?? most of them are nothing more than a legal criminal with a degree,,, it doesn't take a degree to have common sense, and love and compassion for your fellow man,,, and while we are at it, add in, that the government will enforce immigration laws, and not show favoritism to immigrants applying for citizenship thru, generous business loans, years of tax exemption and other loopholes a born citizen never see's or realize's,, stop handing out job's and position's based on minority status ,using sliding scores that shave points,, we should all be americans,, this can be achieved by equal education opportunity, I hear people touting this fair tax, i have to look it up,, but, if there was a national flat tax of just 10 percent, then when exxon makes 4 billion in profit, they have to pay 400 million instead that 38 million they brag about paying, if they're to be tax advantage's give it to small business so they have a chance to grow and create jobs here in america instead of oversea's somewhere,,, buy american if you can, you job may be on the line.., I'll stop here, cause I could go on and on,,, think of this last thought, it is american history that actually happened that current government seems oblivious to:

A great way to lower unemployment !!!!!!

Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around.

I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.

Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback' so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them!

Now, if they could deport the illegal's back then, they can sure do it today!! lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.

Reminder. Don't forget to pay your taxes... 12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you!

signed, your ol buddy

The questions that need to be answered can be summarized with a couple short ones I think..

Where is the GOLD that belongs to the American people, & how much do we have? (Audit the Federal Reserve.)

By the way, some of you may not know that the Federal Reserve is not Federal at all.. It's a smokescreen for a group of world bankers who have taken over our monetary system, & more than likely plundered our gold, replacing it with worthless paper..

Show us the law that says we have to pay an income tax, & especially an un-apportioned one?

The Government cannot show you that law, because it doesn't exist... Before you post any rebuttal to my claim, I'd appreciate it if you do some research, & if you are brave enough, just call or write to the IRS asking them for the specific law or statute that says you must file a 1040 form. They will avoid your question, & send you off into a sea of bureaucracy until you give up, or perhaps earn yourself an "audit" to distract you from asking questions that peasants shouldn't ask...

The adoption of the 16th Amendment, was never ratified by all of the states, & has been a source of tax protester Sixteenth Amendment arguments. However, every argument has been repeatedly rejected by the LOWER courts, to the point that filing a case with said arguments has been ruled to be a frivolous lawsuit, subjecting the filer to criminal and civil penalties.

“I think I’m correct in saying that actually the ratification [of the 16th amendment regarding the federal income tax] never really properly occurred“.
—Senior United States District Court Judge James C. Fox, March 21, 2003

“Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws.”
—Amschel Mayer Rothschild (Banker & co-pioneer of the concept "The Federal Reserve".)

New York Times reporter David Kay Johnston asked, at an IRS press conference, “Why won’t the IRS answer the questions set forth in the petitions from the American people” regarding the statutory authority for collecting income taxes?” IRS spokesman Terry Lemons replied:

“The government is answering the question, through our enforcement actions in the courts.”
—Terry Lemons, IRS spokesman

Have any of you noticed that the IRS now carries Assault Weapons & Pistols?

Shotguns are their "defense" weapon of choice btw when they raid people's home & property, & often seize it without due process.. Why do they do that? Well some believe that it's to make sure the "defendent" doesn't have any assets to use as collateral to hire competent attorneys & defend themselves against the IRS.. Hmm... Makes sense to me..

See here: http://www.irs.gov/irm/part9/irm_09-002-001.html

It's time to start standing up against these tyrants who have finally completed the task of setting up a literal "shadow government", & one that can even buy elections in this current day..
Sure, some of us will be jailed, harassed & maybe even have our heads lopped of for sticking them up, but you have to die from something right? Why not die on the right side of things?

If you want to know all the facts, I strongly suggest this documentary: America, From Freedom to Fascism
It is non-partisan, & contains frightning facts, I will warn you. You can watch it in it's entirety in low quality here:

Whoever controls the money, controls the people.. Take an objective look.. I didn't want to believe it, & loathe to believe it, but the truth is the truth..

While I'm not opposed to appropriately changing the Constitution as suggested by Professor Barnett, I'm not at all sure that is the best course of action.

Many of the Constitutional scholars I've read, at least those who believe in a strict interpenetration of the Constitution, are of the opinion that much of what the Federal government does (and which most conservatives have a problem with) is already "un-Constitutional". It would seem to me, then, that additional amendments may well be ignored just as the current Constitution is now. Or said another way, a "law" is only meaningful if people follow it.

That leaves me with the belief that the best course of action (as in, most efficient) is to work to elect Representatives and Senators who believe in the limited powers of the Federal government as given by the Constitution and will work toward returning to that course and to elect state legislators who will vehemently push back every time the Federal government overreaches.
