Sparta Gun Show

A team of four from Nashville left early in the morning on Saturday to spend some time at the Sparta gun show. It was a great day and we not only had the chance to talk with several existing TFA members who attended the show but we also talked with a lot of people who had never heard of TFA but were interested in what we were doing and several joined at the show.

We talked with several of the dealers who do permit classes as well as members of the Mid State Sportsman's Club about starting a chapter with their help and also working towards coming back in the near future to have a much larger gather to talk with people about what TFA is and why they should be members of such a grassroots organizations. When we do this, I would like to see a large number of TFA members from the area spanning Nashville to Knoxville attend the meeting to talk with people one on one.

Special thanks again to the Mid State Sportsman's Club and Bill Bohannon for allowing graciously TFA to participate in the gun show. We are already making plans to return in September.
