Recently I participated in a web-based talk show. It had several features that I find interesting. It was streamed live on the internet so that anyone with a computer and a high speed connection could listen in. It had a real time chat feature so that people could communicate with each other and with the show participants. It also had a telephone number and phone bank that would handle several incoming calls that could join the conversation.
I am toying with the idea of trying this service to host something similar to a statewide meeting where we could have legislators and similar high profile guests come on and talk with us - probably on the weekends. One drawback is that there does not seem to be available time slots between 5 and 10 pm to meetings would be prior to 5 or after 10:30 pm.
I don't know if any of you participate in the show we did Monday night but if you did, I would appreciate your thoughts on using that resource for TFA "meetings." If you did not hear it, try going to BlogTalkRadio.com and checking out some of the shows to get an idea of what I am talking about.
If you are aware of a similar type of web based program, let me know.
