True Man Doctrine?

It has been around 100+ years. It was rejected by the Tennessee Supreme Court in a decision called State v. Kennamore and it was the reinstated by the Tennessee Legislature in 1989 in what was then 39-11-611 but now the tide seems to be turning thanks to ILA.
