I was pulled over for speeding on Mt. Juliet road the other morning at about 0530 and had my pistol in my lunch -type carry bag. When the officer approached me for license and reg, I also gave him my carry permit. He asked where the weapon was located and I simply pointed to my lunch bag on the seat. He said to just leave it there and it was never mentioned again during the stop. (which resulted in a $140 speeding ticket- 62 in a 40)
Learned my lesson there!
