TFA involvement

With the NRA seeming becoming more "moderate" than they ever have before and a good deal of favorable firearm legislation taking place at the state level, it is more important now than ever before, to get as many friends, neighbors and relatives involved with the TFA even if it is just to be a support member like myself (although I do talk it up as much as possible).
The TFA is our own home grown NRA and although we can't do much at the federal level, it seems that the NRA is not making much progress with national reciprocation or suppressors either.
I fully realize that the latest incident in Las Vegas puts us all behind the 8 ball when it comes to progress in the forward advancement of our gun rights for a while, but we should make every effort to keep the TFA functioning as vibrantly as possible. We could take a lesson from the VCDL (Virginia Citizens Defense League) an organization that plays hard because its members go out to play often, when a situation demands it.
My thanks to John Harris for being a MAJOR player in the battle.
