Can anyone tell me if there are any gunsmith schools around the middle Tn. area. The only thing that I can find are online schools, specifically Ashworth College and Pen Foster. Does anybody know anything about these places and your opinion of online gunsmithing schools? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, I'm a retired LEO looking for a new career. Thanks, Bryan.

I seem to recalls that APPS (Buford Tune's school) is sponsoring a Remington Armorer's course this week on the 870 and 700 platforms. This may be of interest.

Another really good option would be TacticaLogic. I took their AR-15/M-16 Rifle/Carbine basic armorer's course last year and was VERY pleased with the quality of instruction, and they offer a lot of different courses. Give Mike Sanders a call at 931.840.0031 and tell him Jay Travis sent you.

Thank you both. I'll check these out. I'd still like some info on the online courses if anyone has any. Bryan.
