well like a crook caught in the act he'll recuse himself and point the finger elsewhere and try to pull up dirt on the accuser, apparently John you've hit a raw nerve, how dare you accuse the un-impeachable,the elite of our society, the only thing that will keep our country alive,,,hahaaaaa,, their hands were in the cookie jar, someone took pictures and their arrogance coupled with their sheer audacity has landed them in the seat of the accused. I'm proud to be a Patriot and I'm proud to be a member of the TFA.

I can only assume that there is some reason for the thrust of this post, have the sore loosers started calling you a lobyist?

Personally, I can at least offer you my thanks and gratitude for the good work you do, as I do not think the Government has dredged up a way to count and tax that! Yet.

all this seems like good stuff for lou dobbs and his continuing story on 2nd ammendment rights under attack, he is a stickler for the constitution as it was written not paraphrased or interpreted, what do you think ? put bredesen and his abuse of power in the national spotlight?

Just goes to show what having the Mainstream Media on the payroll of the other side can effect.

Serpas ranted about "Where is the data?" showing the need for the law abiding citizen to be armed in restaurants, where is his that shows the OK Coral occurring in the 37 states that already have this law on the books?

I think we are legal based on how they define a lobbyist and the fact I don't get paid for any of this but to the contrary I subsidize a lot of TFA's operating costs out of my law office. Now, they could disagree but its all opinion because the regulations are not clear because they do not seem to contemplate that someone such as me is so big a fool as to spend this much time doing something without pay.

I think they are mad because they have not been able to come up with an antiTFA group. Even if they did they would have to pay everybody to do anything.

Great work John ! You keep up the good work, you've got Bredesen and Serpas a the run . They have forgotten that they work for us and answer to us . I am proud to be a TFA member. Thank you John Harris for your hard work.

"Volunteer Lobbyist: One who does not receive any compensation for his or her services other than reimbursement of actual out-of-pocket expenses and does not engage in lobbying activities for more than ten (10) days during the calendar year. A volunteer Lobbyist who so qualifies need not register. See T.C.A. § 3-6-307(a). Please note that a Lobbyist who receives no compensation other than actual out-of-pocket expenses but engages in lobbying activities for more than 10 days during the calendar year must register with the Commission and pay the required fee. See T.C.A. § 3-6-307(b). The Employer of such Lobbyist must also register. See T.C.A. § 3-6-307(c). Commencing in 2009, Volunteer Lobbyists do not have to pay the registration fee, although they must register and pay the mandatory lobbyist training fee."

What about those of us that engage "in lobbingy activities for more than 10 days during the calendar year" but don't even receive reimbursement of actual out-of-pocket expenses.? Are we Volunteer lobbyists or just activists spending our our money and time?
