Well, since I won't leave my guns at home, I won't be visiting your property!

Leave your guns at home, says the federal agency that operates parks around lakes Lanier, Allatoona, Hartwell and other reservoirs.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Thursday issued a brief statement to clarify that Georgia's new gun law does not apply to their lakes and lands.

Statutes and regulations regarding federal properties pre-empt state law but not the 2nd Amendment. This is why we need organizations like GOA and even NRA is to put pressure on the feds. The problem is what do you do when an entity operating at the national level operates without material input or representation of its membership? Remember, NRA does not have board members from each state. That oversight/omission is one reason I have suspended contributions including FNRA support.

I thought NPS went and ruled our way, allowing CCW if states allowed it?
