Does anyone know if the state is still "short staffed"? I recently applied for my permit and wanted to know just how long a wait I should expect to endure.

My initial issuance also took 88 days to get to me. My last dupe request took OVER 90 days. When I called, they made up some BS story about "computer issues". 
If anyone calls, be sure to ask for "Shawn" in Nashville. She seems to at least to be able to construct a complete correct sentence & she won't "axe" you something.......................
