Dear Ms. Terrell,

At a time when Americans are trying to reduce government expenses, and we have voted our voices to the new Congress, here comes a proposal for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to report multiple sales or disposition of rifles. NO! NO! NO! The estimated total public burden associated with this information collection is 1,696 hours. NO! NO! NO! This is a waste of taxpayer money! Please abandon this request immediately. We can’t afford it. We don’t need it. We don’t want it.

If I can be of assistance, or provide more information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you,

Ben Burke

Sorry, I made a mistake. The reply above was for this email to: shotgunstudy@atf.gov

To whom it may concern:

On way of looking at the proposed ban on the importation of shotguns is this: Doing so will cause the security of the United States to decline! Our nation realizes the safest society of the entire planet because of the 2nd Amendment. This is an indisputable fact! If anyone, any government agency, attempts to undermine the security of our sovereign nation, they are guilty of treason! Try to forego the reason as “generally not recognized as particularly suitable for readily adaptable to sporting purposes.” Does the BATFE not care about self defense? Do NOT ban the importation of shotguns, or any needed arms which can only help us, not threaten us.

Sincerely,

Ben Burke
