Are you sure you don't work for the TBI? Or the BATF? Just sayin.. You seem awful bitter about hearing the facts on the 2nd amendment, & Posse Comitatus.. Did you read the part of the article where the good Lt. wants to abolish Posse Comitatus completely, & BE the military himself?

Here's the link again..
http://www.policeone.com/pc_print.asp?vid=1989236

The danger text:

An attack by international terrorists on our soil is an act of war. Our military is prepared to act on such an attack, but unfortunately due to Posse Comitatus, their response will be slow, and too late. If the military is not allowed to properly prepare to conduct a tactical resolution to a mass hostage siege, then that mission is left to local law enforcement.

We have common ground on the issue of Democracy vs. Republic. In my suggestion that it go before the People, I agree, State and Local legislative bodies should be the ones to decide. However, I contend that movement of such magnitude should be afforded an opportunity for the legislative bodies to be included in the decision to move forward with such activities. The oaths taken or affirmed by each and every legislator is to protect and defend the Constitution, hopefully, those entrusted with the job, know the rules, and if not, we need new ones.

What was reported was a "secret" test of the capabilities of said technology. Should it prove viable, I think that the Legislature, (be that State, County of City), should have to apporve implimentation, not the LE Department itself. I think also that such consideration would need to include the opportunity for the general populace to voice their opinions with respect to the question.

Oh one last thing Robert.. I don't care if people respond to my threads or not. I'm here to spread the truth, not "go with the flow of society" like you do. I don't care about being liked, I don't care about who hates me. I care about speaking the truth so that our Constitution is preserved. I have relatives dating back to the civil war who fought for this country, & were either injured or lost their lives. So it is my responsibility to fight to keep what they fought for alive.. My promise is not here. It's with my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, who is in heaven waiting for me. My promise is not here Robert. The only thing here is the test for when I go there.. People called Christ a lunatic too, & a radical... I expect to be attacked by brainwashed sheeple. It's ok.. I'll just speak the truth anyway. I was one of them at one time.. Now I know the truth. No servant is greater than his Master, & I will be attacked for saying the truth.

Oh right, as if you have addressed the Raid Map, the Hand Grenades, the CS Gassing of an old woman in her home, & didn't try to paint me as a "Hater of Law Enforcement".. At least what I said is all true! You denigrate yourself actually by following the sheep to their sheering.. Not my fault..

Both of you--Robert & Dan--chill out. This is the second time I've had to say something to you, and I know at least one of you has
been contacted privately by a moderator & asked to tone it down.

Any more of this, in this tone, will result in this thread being locked, & your posting privileges changed to moderated...which means
your posts will have to be reviewed before they're allowed to be published.

Personally, I have more important things to do than referee a war of words.

We try to allow a wide range of discourse & discussion on this forum, and prefer take a laissez faire approach except in rare circumstances.
This is now one of those instances.

Keep it civil, or shut it down.

No, you're right David. I've said all that is useful or needed to say on this topic, & more.. I'm sorry for the "more" part..

I am very passionate about this subject, because I'm concerned about innocent people being targeted & hurt. But to go any further with this discussion is "beating a dead horse as they say."

Sorry for the inconvenience..

Thank you, Dan.

While I appreciate your passion--my wife has frequently described me the same way when it comes to guns & our rights--I also
appreciate your spirit of cooperation, & willingness to take a step back & draw a breath.

Thank you.
